New visual arts centre
In the heart of QT8 — between Parco Monte Stella and the legacy of a neighborhood that shaped Milan’s post-war urban vision — a new public space for visual culture, research, and the future is taking shape.
The new CASVA – Centre for Advanced Studies in Visual Arts is nearly complete. Very soon, Milan will welcome a vibrant, open place that preserves history while generating new perspectives. PRINCIPIOATTIVO Architecture Group, in collaboration with MM Spa, contributed to the detailed and executive design phases, helping to shape an architecture that balances clarity with sensitivity, utility with inspiration.
CASVA will not be just an archive, but a laboratory of ideas — an active cultural hub within the city’s network — where Milan’s graphic and design heritage can engage with the present and fuel future creativity.
