Proposal for a new inclusive agro-food hub
Aeroponics is an innovative and at the same time
revolutionary technology. It is a process of indoor plants growing without using soil or any other aggregate support. Plants, are artificially supported and their feeding is guaranteed by water nebulization systems, enriched with mineral fertilizers that directly affect the root system of the plant.
The project involves the construction of additional greenhouses and areas designed to achieve the circular economy, the maximum expression today of everything the earth needs.
The creation of an hub agro-food eco sustainable where an energy community will be realized; based on research and development products from the ground, using renewable energy sources. Greenhouses built inside 40 HC containers as required by the project developed by PRINCIPIOATTIVO Architecture Group:
• Easily transportable and storable
• Stackable and replicable
• Minimization of logistics and structure costs
The whole project, from growing sustainble earth greens, passing through their transformation into eadible products, to the creation of an energy community aims to include disadvantage people
Dreaming big, new centers of excellence could be developed in third world countries, bringing food, water and energy and therefore LIFE and DEVELOPMENT, teaching locally and concretely creating examples of circular economy and sustainability.
