The HQ Saint-Gobain building is the building material production of the showroom of all Group materials, declined and made in various shapes and sizes. The success of the project is in having managed to create a building that was a real and physical image of leading solutions, glass, dry systems and mineral insulators, using them in every detail, shape and type.

The light, natural and artificial, plays differently with the materials used, glass and i dry systems, creating different atmospheres and paths. Natural light fills the space and commands, the artificial cadence and defines the rhythm.

Each floor reflects the operations of those who live there.

Much attention has been paid to the ground floor which represents the heart of the project, one original and atypical showroom designed and built inspired by a typology of apartment in its meanings of living area, library and outdoor space, taking advantage of and simulating the use and performance of the related materials chosen. In this space and more precisely in the Auditorium hall the sinuous and curved walls go beyond the standard profiles of dry systems and glass reproduced to date: following the mathematical formula of the integral each segment of the curve is ground by degrees to be the most accurate and precise as possible. Thanks to careful timely design, static checks and pre and post-work techniques and an excellent workforce, it was possible to reach degrees of curvature of the walls never before experimented with Saint-Gobain products.

The false ceiling of the Auditorium hall represents a point of considerable personality e character, highlighting a wave profile made with sound-absorbing perforated sheets, deformable, with a remarkable aesthetic value and extraordinary acoustic performance, the whose shape derives from the intersection between the curved perimeter wall and the waves determined by an imaginary sinusoidal movement with the ceiling.
